Media and Photography Policy
Last updated 27 October 2026Photographs and films are part of how Earth Beat is remembered and shared. This policy explains how media is captured at our events, how it is used in our galleries, and how to raise a concern about an image.
Filming and photography at events
Professional photography and filming take place at Earth Beat events. Notices are displayed at entry, and attendance means you may appear in photographs, video or audio recordings made at the event, which we may use to document and promote our events.
Buying a ticket does not transfer any rights in images you take yourself, and does not grant you a right to publish images of identifiable guests without their consent.
Our galleries and permitted use
Event galleries are published for guests and for Earth Beat promotion. Where downloads are enabled, personal, non-commercial use — sharing with friends, printing for yourself — is permitted.
Commercial use, advertising, resale, redistribution as a collection, or use of Earth Beat photography to promote another business or event is not permitted without written permission. Photographer and videographer credits must be preserved where they are shown.
Requesting review or removal
If you appear in a published image and would prefer it not to be, use the contact form and select the media enquiry subject. Tell us the gallery and the image, and we will review the request promptly — normally within a few working days — and remove or crop the image where appropriate.
We may also remove media where a person has asked not to be photographed, where a minor is identifiable without consent, or where publication would cause harm.
Guest photography
Guests are welcome to take photographs and short clips for personal use. Professional equipment, commercial filming, livestreaming and drone use require our prior written permission. Some events or areas may be marked as no-photography zones, and our staff will ask for equipment to be put away where a guest has asked not to be photographed.
